I'm Kyoko - So glad you're here!

I’m a former teacher with experience in daycare, preschool, and kindergarten, and I once ran a small English immersion preschool in Japan called CoCoKids. I built this preschool to feel like a home, a place where every child felt deeply loved, accepted, and safe.

I truly believe that when children feel secure and supported, they naturally open up to learning and grow in beautiful, unexpected ways.

Based on over 15 years of working with children ages 0–6, I created a gentle, connection-based approach to learning inspired by love, play, and daily routines. I call it the CoCoKids Method.

Now, through cocogreen, I’m excited to share resources from the CoCoKids Method for families with children ages 1–6. These include fun, engaging activities that strengthen family bonds while supporting meaningful, early childhood learning.

At CoCoKids, I saw children from non-English-speaking homes naturally pick up English in a joyful, nurturing setting—many were fully bilingual by age 4. My hope is to support your family experience the same kind of stress-free, joyful language learning experience through family-style Japanese learning.
